With everything finished, packaged and priced we were all set for the Christmas themed coffee morning. Once again we had a lovely morning spent with visiting friends and family and were delighted to raise £436 in the process. As you are already aware that this money goes towards our very busy activity programme, so Thank you for your continued support.
We enjoyed a trip to the Pavilion Theatre in Gorleston to see the pantomime Cinderella. The atmosphere and interior of the theatre is wonderful, very old fashioned. We treated ourselves to refreshments in the interval and met one of the cast Izzie who's 12 following the show.
We decided to hold our own version of 'The Bake Off' by having two teams being responsible for making a Christmas cake. With our 'bear' mascots, Gertie and Andy fronting the teams there was plenty of rivalry over the equipment and ingredients! (No cheating though, well not that we witnessed!!!).
