In the Chinese lunar year, it's the year of the Tiger. We had a lovely few days preparing for our Chinese New Year celebrations, decorating up, preparing the lucky red packets, learning interesting facts about China and it's culture, culminating with our Chinese banquet. One of the preparations was the dessert which was the most delicious Mango and Lychee cheesecake. [...]
We had three milestone birthdays in January. We were delighted to help them to celebrate with family and friends. As you can see a good time was had by all.
Every year we take part in the RSPB annual bird watch. The week before we prepare some bird cakes, and make sure that the feeders are all topped up. We also painted some bird boxes to go into the garden. Made some bird themed place mats, played bird bingo, and name that bird games too. So lots of busy projects [...]
