We went down to Martham Methodist Church to see their Christmas tree festival, hosted by Glenda Tooke. She has 1700 trees of all shapes and sizes which she displays in the church to raise funds. This was to be her final year for displaying them, so at the end of the festival she was selling them to the highest bidder. [...]
Look who came to visit to kick off our Elf week celebrations, The Elf on the shelf! He handed out sweets and biscuits on his way around. We spent many activity sessions creating Christmas themed things. these ranged from Window displays. Christingles. Crackers ,and generally decorating up the home, making it feel very festive indeed.
