Please remember our postponed summer fete is on Saturday 19th August x

Today was the England women's football semi final. The game to place in Sydney at 11:00am our time. Those who wished to watch it gathered together in the lounge ready for the kick off. A high tension match and a little emotional at times too. Well done to The Lionesses x

Today we made blackberry jam and scones to have for our tea. Both turned out really well. Very tasty indeed. We had a 'double yoke' egg in the scones, which for some reason made us feel very excited to see! The jam set beautifully, thanks to everyone's expert advice on 'setting' points.
