St David's Day celebrations. We spent a couple of days preparing for St David's day. We decorated up the dining room and made some Bara Brith. Then on St David's Day a traditional meal of Welsh Cawl was served and a much enjoyed Welsh themed quiz was enjoyed. Take a look and see.
We had all sorts of wellbeing activities lined up for Bread Week. These included our own bread making, along with bread and butter pudding, bread pudding, and pizza making. There was a bread themed quiz. It was all great fun, and the results were delicious.
As part of Bread Week we had a visit to Scratby Bakery. It was a lovely shop selling freshly made breads and local products. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Having made our choices the breads were eaten for tea, delicious. Well worth a visit.
