We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the river.
We set off from Brundall, where the Waveney Stardust has a new mooring at Power Marine.
We were lucky with the weather as we have been experiencing unseasonal cold and wet conditions. Although cloudy, there was no rain, and a temp of 20 (although a little windy at times keeping temp feeling down).
It was great for bird and wildlife, we saw kingfishers, swans, geese, ducks, Marsh Harriers, and otters.
The rivers seemed very quiet, and we stopped in Surlingham Broad for lunch, which was very tranquil indeed.
A great day had by all. Thanks to the crew who served us teas and coffees and drove us all about the river Yare,
