MassKara Day Festival

Home/Uncategorized/MassKara Day Festival

Masskara Day is a celebration of the Philippines.

What is the significance of MassKara you may ask?

To lift the spirits of the locals and bring back the smiles on their faces, the MassKara Festival was created. The smiling masks were a declaration of the people of Bacolod City that they will pull through and survive the challenges and tragedies that they are facing.

We are very lucky to have Deza as part of our team at Ealing House. Through her enthusiasm for the festival we decided to put on our own festival. It was great fun.
Firstly festival masks had to be made, so lots of gluey fingers and feathers!
Then there was the menu, which Deza helped us to decide.
She also volunteered to help to cook it too. What a star xx
