We went down to Martham Methodist Church to see their Christmas tree festival, hosted by Glenda Tooke.
She has 1700 trees of all shapes and sizes which she displays in the church to raise funds.
This was to be her final year for displaying them, so at the end of the festival she was selling them to the highest bidder.
When we arrived the Mayor of Great Yarmouth was in attendance and gave her opening/welcoming speech.
Having taken a close look at the display we headed into the cafe for refreshments.
We even ‘bumped into’ fellow village friends for a catch up.
What a wonderful time we all had.
