Halloween Celebrations

Wow did we have a great Halloween!

Jenny and Sara came in with their ‘childminding’ children all dressed up in Halloween costumes to meet up with the residents and their relatives as: Elaine came in with three of her pet snakes!

She told us all  about them and allowed us to stroke and hold them. Even those who initially were not too sure were brave enough to try.

Some even draped them around their necks, you may have been one of them!

After all the fun and excitement (along with some strict hand washing!) there was a Halloween themed tea party.

Starters; Pumpkin Soup

There was Skull shaped pizza, severed fingers in tombstone rolls (hot dogs!)  ghost, pumpkin, and bat shaped sandwiches with blood shot eyeball eggs, bat wings and maggot shaped crisps! For dessert there were witches hats, pumpkin pie, gruesome bug cake, blood cakes, bat pumpkin and ghoul cookies. What a spread!! Take a look. would you DARE to eat it?

Then as if that wasn’t enough excitement, we had numerous ‘Trick or Teaters’ to enjoy as they came in by the dozen!P1030969
