A Jurassic Encounter

We decided to do something completely different to alleviate the summer time blues! So we organised an event which would include both young and old alike. Staff were invited to bring their children in to meet Jamie an animal expert along with his unusual and exotic animals, for a Jurassic Encounter. He has a private zoo in Thetford, and travels around giving talks about his animals. Allowing those who wish, to participate in stroking or holding the animals.

He had all sorts of interesting creatures. They included a red footed tortoise, a blue tongued skink, snakes, a giant millipede, a skinny pig, a chameleon, and a skunk. Oh yes, and the most enormous rabbit you’ve ever seen!

There was a wonderful turnout with over 40 people there to meet all the animals. A great time was had by all.

After all the excitement lunch was served to all. What a fantastic day we had.
