We were blessed with some sunny weather on the morning of Beach Day (It poured in the afternoon!!)
We decided to head to Great Yarmouth to look at The Golden Mile. There were plenty of tourists about, and it was lovely stopping near the Pleasure Beach where we rolled down the windows and listened to people screaming in delight as they took a ride on The Scenic Rollercoaster. It is wooden and was constructed in 1932 and is only one of seven in the world still operational today.
Obviously all this people watching made us feel hungry! So we ice cream on our way home. With Malcolm demonstrating the ‘only way’ to eat a 99!
What a lovely morning we had.
