As you may already be aware we thoroughly enjoyed two previous trips on board The Waveney Stardust cruiser. So we thought we’d go for a third trip. Unfortunately we were unable to book the same boat so we opted to try out the ‘Queen of the Broads’ trip departing from Wroxham. It was a beautiful day as you can see and we were able to take in the scenery from a more elevated position on the boat. (Although there wasn’t the freedom of movement like our favourite Waveney Stardust!!) Everyone enjoyed a cup of tea on board as well as the commentary from the captain who told us all sorts of interesting facts including showing us George Formby’s former home. We also had a sheet of photos showing the different birds to be found on the broads, so we tried to do some bird watching!
