The trips on the river this year have been a huge success. Thanks to the Waveney stardust and their wonderful team of volunteers.
The weather almost led to July’s voyage being postponed as it was too hot the temperature was in the thirty’s!! Thankfully there was a slight breeze during the afternoon allowing the residents to go. Plenty of refreshments were enjoyed along the way, and although warm everyone seemed to enjoy themselves along the way.
Augusts trip took place on a cloudier day, making it perfect for bird watching. for this trip we arrived by bus enabling those in wheelchairs access to the trip. There were plenty of kingfishers about for us to observe. The crew were very informative, pointing out all sorts of interesting things en route.
We have one more trip scheduled for this season, and look forward to seeing the itinerary for 2019.
