Anne Bates was invited along to Rollesby school to cut their centenary cake. She was chosen because her mother was one of the teachers who worked at the school when it relocated 'opened' 100 years ago. With Anne now being in her 90's she is also one of the oldest ex-pupils. There is certainly a day for everything! Today was National Cereal Day! It was great fun. We looked and tried all sorts of different things made from cereals. Then we made cheesecakes with a Weetabix and banana base, along with some Rice Krispy cakes.
What a great day we had. The home decided to have Alice in Wonderland as their book choice. The girls on shift chose their own themes, Suzi was the elephant in 'Five Minutes Peace', Dee was 50 shades. We also had Harry Potter, Mary Poppins and 'Spot' something funny book!!
