Christmas preparations began early this year. Elaine and her band of merry helpers have made not one, but two Christmas cakes. There was a lot of fun and laughter as they were being made. Goodness only knows how much laughter there will be when they are finally eaten as they are being laced with a weekly brandy! As part of the build up to Christmas they will be decorated by two teams in a ‘Bake Off’ style competition. These will then go on display and await the judges vote. So make sure you look out and cast your vote! It’s all good fun.
This is not the only cookery to take place, mince pies have been made in readiness for the forthcoming coffee morning. So come along and have a taste.
