There were many activities taking place during the ‘build up’ to Christmas. These included making a Christmas tree using everyone’s hands as templates for the branches which were then made out of green tissue paper.
Also a giant wreath was made, when holly shaped leaves were decorated with various mediums. Once these were ready they were then arranged in a wreath shaped display and finished off with holly berries and a bow.
Reindeer were made for the front windows, these certainly made a happy display for all to view as they came to Ealing House. For these each resident had a template of their hands made following which they decorated them with their own personal designs. It was amazing to see how creative people were. these hands once cut out became the reindeers antlers!
Table decorations, we found some Christmas crackers with oasis inside, so the challenge was set to make some flower arrangements to go inside. They turned out very well, as you can see.
