We had a very busy day on 19th March.
Firstly it was Reminiscence, followed by some Sports Relief activities!
As they say never a dull moment here at Ealing House!
The theme for Reminiscence was ‘Wash Day;’ and the children from Jenny and Sara’s childminding services came along to join in. They helped with the scrubbing of the washing, sat in the tin bath, and sniffed the carbolic soap! they were all very interested in seeing how things were in the ‘olden days’!
Elaine was quick to be our model, when we needed a volunteer to show off some old fashioned underwear!
Following all this activity, it was then time to take part in Sport Relief!
For this there was some parachute activities to enjoy. Firstly everyone had to see how long they could keep the parachute going with sport relief balls and the sport relief sheep mascot on top!!!
These were later replaced with some red balloons.
The activity provided lots of fun and laughter. Before we knew it it was time for some much needed lunch.
There was just time for some helium balloons to be released to say that Ealing House had taken part in Sport Relief. (A donation of £20 has been sent to the charity).
