Book Day preparations began with decorating up the dining room. The theme for our book was Alice in Wonderland. Food was prepared in the 'not what it looks like' theme.. You would not believe how many colourful flowers we found around the garden (and some from recent Valentines Day), despite the dreadful wet and windy weather we've had of late. We carefully placed them onto some blotting paper and layered them into the flower presses. Now all we need to do is wait to see how they come out!
St David's Day celebrations. We spent a couple of days preparing for St David's day. We decorated up the dining room and made some Bara Brith. Then on St David's Day a traditional meal of Welsh Cawl was served and a much enjoyed Welsh themed quiz was enjoyed. Take a look and see.
