As part of Bread Week we had a visit to Scratby Bakery. It was a lovely shop selling freshly made breads and local products. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Having made our choices the breads were eaten for tea, delicious. Well worth a visit.
We enjoyed having a selection of unusual fruits as part of our Tu B'Shevat week. We also incorporated these fruits in various cookery recipes too. This coincided with Chinese New Year and most fruits were used in a wonderful fruit salad, as you can see, it was all very tasty indeed.
Wow. What a great celebration week we had to welcome the Year of Dragon. We spent some time making various craft dragons in readiness for the main event. This was a wonderful meal created by Pom, Suzy and Deza. They showed us how to make dim sun, pork balls and chow mien. There was a Chinese themed quiz in between [...]
