Yes that's right there is a day to commemorate the first walk on the moon. We are very fortunate to have some original newspapers from 21st July 1969 with photos and information about such an amazing feat for mankind. We also had some 'Space food' to try! Look.
We enjoyed a visit from Astro, Dee's dog. He's one soppy dog, look at him. Everyone loved seeing him and treating him to lots of treats. Hope he has time to come and see us again, Thank you Dee.
We decided not just to celebrate Bastille Day, but indeed celebrate France, and all things French! We had a lovely time. There were quizzes, word searches. French foods 9even snails!), French wine tasted during a week of activity.
