Wow, Ealing House put on an amazing celebration for the Royal Wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They enlisted the help of the children from Jenny and Sara’s who had provided a Prince and Princess! (Three-year-old JJ and Rosie). They also had a soldier, a brave knight (complete with his horse), a bridesmaid, the Prince’s brother William and even the duke of Edinburgh! Graham was the vicar for the ceremony with Celia taking on the role of The Queen.
The Ceremony was held in the dining room which had been decorated to the hilt for the occasion. It all went off without a hitch. The wedding couple were pronounced ‘Best Friend’s’ for ever following an exchange of rings.
After the ceremony, the room was transformed into a banqueting hall, where everyone enjoyed a lovely meal. It was all thanks to Karen and Debbie in the kitchen for putting on a wonderful spread. The day was compered by Elaine who with her skills on the computer, made the service and music during lunch all feel like we were at a real wedding. As you can imagine there are hundreds of photos which are all in a special wedding album which you must look through when you next visit. (There plenty to look at on here too!!!)
Oh I nearly forgot the day finished with a disco! Where the parents of the children who took part were invited along to see what we’d been doing during the day. The Best friends arrived in their Special car, much to everyone’s delight.
The cake was cut, and a tea party enjoyed!!
The ‘real’ wedding day on the 19th May was spent watching it all happen live on TV! There were flags and blowers and even bubbles to cheer the happy couple on!
