Anne Bates was invited along to Rollesby school to cut their centenary cake.
She was chosen because her mother was one of the teachers who worked at the school when it relocated ‘opened’ 100 years ago. With Anne now being in her 90’s she is also one of the oldest ex-pupils.
What a wonderful reception, and event it was.
So much time had gone into the research and displays.
It was a thoroughly enjoyable morning, it was so lovely to see people reunited. (In some cases after many years).
Congratulations to all the staff and those involved with Rollesby School.
