Our final boat trip of the season was enjoyed on the 18th September. Despite the heavy rain showers we were all delighted with the amount of wildlife we saw first hand. There were so many kingfishers about with five being spotted in total. Showing off their magnificent colours as they flew along the river bank.
Some were also lucky enough to spot an otter, thanks to Tony’s quick eye as it swam past on his side of the boat looking for some fish.
There were also all sorts of bird life to see as went along the river Ant to How Hill, swans, duck, geese, great crested grebes, cormorants, marsh harriers to name a few.
