We were blessed with the most amazing weather for the first of our boat trips on the Norfolk Boards on board The Waveney Stardust 1.
We set off from Stalham Staithe and sailed along the River Ant to How Hill, taking a short detour on the way back via a renovated windmill and farmhouse.
Along the way an assortment of refreshments were served, tea and cakes or indeed a glass of cold beer or a soft drink.
The three hours passed very quickly as there is an opportunity to walk about the boat and enjoy the views from the back, along with the fresh air from the cabin as we were able to have the cab slid open through out the voyage. There were plenty of birds to be seen, this included some swans with their cygnets.
The next trip is on Monday 26th June from Brundall 2 -5 pm (Fingers crossed the weather’s as good!)
